How to Replace the Reed Switch in a Rain Collector
In the rare event that your Maximum rain gauge stops getting proper readings, it’s likely that the reed switch in the rain collector needs replacing. Replacing the switch is a fairly straightforward process, and Maximum’s service technician, Claude Raposo, demonstrates how it’s done in the video below. Of course, if you’d prefer, you can send your rain collector in to Maximum for service and we’ll repair it for you.
